What is Wellness?

It's an active, lifelong process of becoming aware of choices and making decisions towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Achieving wellness requires that you take control and direct your life where you want it to go. You are in command of all aspects of your life—physical, career, relationships, finances, spiritual, environment, and emotional well-being, and so on.  Within yourself, you have the power you need to create wellness in your life.  Your power lies in the choices you make everyday on your behalf  to constantly seek more information and guidance about how you can improve and select options that are in your best interests.

What is a Wellness Coach vs Life Coach?

A wellness coach is a life coach who has an added focus on well-being.  A wellness coach is an objective, non-judgmental professional who provides encouragement, accountability, support, advice, and strategy to perform at your very best.   I become your partner, your friend, your confidant and your biggest fan on the road to optimal well-being.

My role in your wellness program is to use my vitality and experiences to help you overcome challenges and reclaim what you want out of life. I help you create an action plan and coach you in getting more from your self care, your career, your life and you.   I ask questions, I help you clarify your goals, I work with you to define your priorities and values, and I provide feedback. I may suggest assignments such as reading or I may encourage you to put new tools into practice.  I’ll help you get and stay organized, help keep you directed, focused and on a path to setting goals and achieving optimal success.

Who needs a Wellness Coach?

I coach women just like you—motivated, competent individuals who are smart and resourceful, who may simply be stuck, in need of a little direction, or are contemplating a big life change. Perhaps you need a little direction. A little focus, a little push to do all those things you’ve wanted to, but for some reason or another, haven’t.  The evidence of what's not working can no longer be ignored. 

That’s where wellness coaching can help. If you’re ready to take action and make the necessary changes to achieve better results and get the things you want then contact me.  I will partner with you to create solutions you need to achieve the quality of life you richly deserve.

How do I know if a Wellness Coach can help me?

Most of us are ready to get unstuck and move past obstacles and start doing something that works. Maybe you feel as though life is passing you by, or your focus on work or family has led to too many priorities, unfulfilled dreams, unsatisfying career, poor self care or self worth. You may look at others and wonder how they find the time, the energy, vitality or the ambition to do what they do. You may look back at times in your life when you felt happy and fulfilled—and simply miss that feeling.  Whatever the case, I can coach you in a different direction, keep you motivated and encouraged, provide you with insight, motivation and techniques.

What holds us back from living the life we desire?  For some it’s fear; it's lack of confidence, For others, it’s an inability to set goals, establish boundariess and follow through. And for many, it’s just a matter of not knowing where to begin.  I can coach you in the right direction, help you set goals, assess what your personal obstacles and barriers are, and give you a different perspective on things. Together we can design the right action plan to ensure an optimal level of success for you. What is the difference between coaching, therapy, consulting, or just having a supportive friend?

Therapy - Coaching is not therapy. Coaches don't focus on past issues or the psychological dimensions of human behavior. That knowledge may come-out as you move forward toward personal and professional goals giving you the life you really want, but it’s not the focus of the coaching relationship.

Consulting – Coaching is not consulting, however, the coach stays with you through the stages of setting measurable goals and making the changes necessary to create a wellness foundation that includes lasting changes to your lifestyle.

A Supportive Friend - A supportive friend is wonderful to have, but is your supportive friend a professional who you will trust to work with you regularly on the most important aspects of your life, focusing only on YOUR agenda?  You can have both - a supportive friend and a coach.

How does it work?

To get started, complete and submit the pre-coaching questionnaire.  You will be contacted within 48 hours after the questionnaire is submitted to schedule your Free 20 minute coaching session.  

How is a Coaching Plan structured?

1 x 60 Plan

One-60 minute personal coaching session per month conducted over the telephone. This plan is for highly motivated self-starters who do not require a lot of feedback, structure and accountability.

2 x 60 Plan

Two-60 minute personal coaching sessions per month conducted over the telephone

All coaching sessions are strictly confidential. Your investment is $185 - $370 per month (discounts are available for three month commitments)

Your coaching plan includes:

  • Personal coaching sessions conducted over the telephone
  • Free 20 minute consultation
  • 45 minute client intake session
  • Together we will develop an action plan to establish the support network and the environment you need to assure your success
  • Frequency of coaching sessions are 1 x 60 (1-1- hour long coaching session per month) and 2 x 60 (2 – 1 hour long coaching sessions per month) or a customized plan
  • Unlimited e-mail communication and "quick-calls" are included in the monthly fee
  • You get access to assessments, on-line forum, discounts on teleclasses, additional materials and resources
  • Much of your progress occurs between sessions, when you implement the actions that we have agreed will lead to the most dramatic results.
